Wow what a summer we have had! Despite the wet weather, our little business is not so little anymore. Full time booths at both Bracebridge on Saturdays and Gravenhurst on Wednesdays were fantastic. Joe and I took great pleasure in meeting so many new faces and we were honoured by how many faces return on a regular basis to visit our booth. A 3 time guest spot at the Rosseau Market turned into an 8 time guest spot and we were thrilled to be invited back so often. Getting to know both the vendors and shoppers was great fun as we were in a different location every week. within this beautiful market. Fingers crossed we will have a regular spot next summer.
Joe did a solo market when we were invited to participate in the Gravenhurst Artist Crawl. I was busy at the Bracebridge Farmers Market that day so we had a little competition between us and I now bow to his success lol!
The Dockside Festival also asked us to join their event so we agreed to give it a try. What I believe is normally a fantastic event was pummelled by torrential downpours followed by light drizzles all day on Friday and Saturday. Kudos to those who braved the weather and visited the Festival anyway...we are grateful for your patronage. Sunday was mostly dry but who could blame folks for choosing to stay at home/cottage and enjoy the weather.
So as we enter into the fall season you will continue to find us at the Bracebridge and Gravenhurst Farmers Markets AND we hope you will come visit us at our booths at the BALA CRANBERRY FESTIVAL October 13-15 where we will have a booth inside the Arena and once again November 3-5 at the Barrie Christmas Show inside the Barrie Molson Centre booth 139.
